Alibi Cafe has to be the best-kept secret in Sarasota. Outwardly unpretentious on a non-commercial section of Swift Road, it is beautifully and comfortably appointed inside. The staff is extremely friendly, the food terrific and the prices are good. In the evenings the atmosphere is one of an intimate club with lots of regulars - sort of like a European "Cheers". It is well worth the trip for anything from morning coffee to a full meal or an evening drink.
