The Lorrie Yeager Jr. Juvenile Center is a 20-plus-bed, coeducational, hardware secure facility that offers detention services in north-central West Virginia. The center features a fenced recreation area. It offers individual and group counseling services. The center also provides case management, medical and psychiatric solutions. It offers a therapeutic recreation program. The center serves individuals of the age 17 and above. The Lorrie Yeager Jr. Juvenile Center is operated by the State of West Virginia Division of Juvenile Services, which additionally manages the Donald R. Kuhn Juvenile Diagnostic & Detention Center, West Virginia Industrial Home For Youth and Gene Spadaro Juvenile Center. The State of West Virginia Division of Juvenile Services offers community-based juvenile intervention and assessment programs.
