I have been a client of Corey's since June 2010. He is an excellent personal trainer. Being an old athlete I appreciate the coaching that his training offers. When I would normally give up on my own, he encourages you to give it that extra push to continue on. He keeps you right where you need to be to steadily improve without over doing it. I feel energized after a session and I find myself wanting to get out and do things, instead of hang out on the couch.
His gym has a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere that allows anyone to feel comfortable. He has a great staff of trainers, that take the time to get to know you and encourage all your successes. This is the first gym that I have been able to stick with. I enjoy coming to every session and noticed an immediate increase in my energy and stamina. I also like the fact that it's by appointment, and because of that I show up, unlike the open ended gym memberships that I apparently join for the key chains.
I have also participated in the yoga classes with Rachel, and she is absolutely amazing. She has a calm strength about her that allows you to push yourself a little farther each time, without taking it over the top. I've never felt intimidated with my level of experience, or lack there of, during any yoga class. She always encourages you to do your personal best and take it as far as you can.
Thanks to my training at Train With Corey, I have dropped a dress size and lost 13 pounds. I have also decided to start running again and will enter my first 5K this May, which is something that I haven't done in 16 years.
