Worst Bank warning:Offered me $10 to use my card 7 times in the month of June. The deal specifically stated: Make 7 purchases in the month of June and receive $10. I used 8 times. Some of the transactions posted many days later but Bank Manager promised payment as long as purchase was in June. They refused payment. CHEAP!Later my account went overdraft by $3.06 I never gave permission for overdraft. I was on retreat out of touch and nearly one month went by. They want $234 for that $3 overdraft! I paid them the $3.06 but they are still pursuing. The bank manager offered to give me the $10 they owe me from before if I pay the overdraft fees. I told her that if they finally pay what they owe me then my account will not register an overdraft because the payment should register from long before the overdraft.Fed to ban overdraft fees. See article in mid-November Tribune. To protect consumers from this fraud the Federal Reserve will ban overdraft fees on debit cards in 2010.
