Founded in 1996, Have Dreams is a nonprofit organization that serves children with autism spectrum disorders. The organization offers assistance with the development of abilities to learn, function and socialize independently. It provides more than 20 instructional programs. Have Dreams also offers individualized on-site and home programming instructional services. The organization operates a teen program that provides opportunities to develop several daily living skills, such as cooking, group games and independent leisure. It offers activities to promote social interactions and cooperate working environment. Have Dreams organizes outings to restaurants, theaters and malls. In addition, the organization s learning centers include games, reading options, music, and arts and crafts. It is located in Park Ridge, Ill.
