Parish Elementary School is a public charter school and a part of the Altmar-Parish-Williamstown School District, located in Parish, N.Y. It enrolls more than 230 students from kindergarten through five. The school provides a comprehensive education in all core curricular areas, and its elementary school curriculum includes courses, such as English, mathematics, science and American history. It also gives instructions in health and physical education, computer science, art and music. It offers a variety of extracurricular activities, including various sports such as basketball, swimming and volleyball. Parish Elementary School s newsletter, the Parish Post, published four times during the year, is available on the school Web site, as well as in hard copy.
