Before buying a Honda be aware that the Service Maintenance costs can be significant.
My sisters 2001 Honda CR-V developed a slow leak around the oil pan gasket. We took it to Honda of Bay County (Panama City, Florida) and were quoted close to $500 to replace the oil pan Gasket. $500 – I was shocked. I expected it would be high due to being a dealership but $500 for an oil pan gasket, a job a back yard mechanic could do in an hour? This was beyond high… it was outrageous. Honda may be a good car to buy but stay away from their service departments
and be sure to take service costs into account when purchasing any new vehicle
Bought 2 brand new 4 wheelers from them. Took them to have first oil change. Came home and drive the 4 wheeler 5 minutes , started smoking !!!! The oil plug was out. Called them and they said so sorry to hear. 475.00 plus blowed rings . Beware they don't care. I drive all the way to Dothan now .
Stay away from this place. They will rip you off. They are only helpful when they are trying to sell you something. Once you purchase it you are own your own. They do not care about their customers. WORST PLACE EVER !!
They did a great job with my Yamaha RSTD. It rides better and shifts smoother than it ever did. They worked on my two other bikes, Suzuki S40 and Honda Aero 750. I was always pleased with the results and professionalism of the staff. I will continue to take my bikes there.
I bought can-am for honda on hwy231...got oil change it was high price for 219.00 dollars...drove it home it has not worked the engine light come on...call them back to tell them something was wrong...they said it was not from oil change ....rude service people tolmd me that their is nothing they can do ...so took it to atlanta freedom...they said it was tranverse...fixed it and now it is not working...I would not buy any can-am for panama city honda on hwy 231....cause they will not service u and charged a high price for something...freedom oil change is 59.95
