- The salon owner, Pam, belongs to several community and business organizations. She presently sits on Stanford Shopping Center Merchants Association.Board of Directors to the Menlo Park local business association, the California Cosmetologists Association and sits on advisory boards for Skyline Beauty School. Hair International works with the State Board of Cosmetology's apprentice program, wherein potential stylists train in-salon for 2 years.We have a 5 stylist traveling styling team, who love doing runway models, photo-shoots, video's...just about anything new or different!
General Info
Hair International celebrate it's 28th year at Stanford Shopping Center in January 2018. We have been voted best overall salon and best men's salon in the Palo Alto Weekly "Best of Palo Alto Readers Choice" award contest for 13 years in a row. We take a real interest in our community and send stylists to the Woodside Priory and the Menlo School for all their senior fashion shows. we take part in "Locks of Love" helping girls donate their hair to be made into wigs for cancer patients. We are involved in an at-risk teen program "Spark", wherein we provide a mentorship spot for 2 students every semester. Our most important contribution has been visiting sick patients at Stanford hospital and servicing their needs at a very minimal price. We have done this for 28 years, and it remains the most meaningful of all we do.

I always go here to get my hair cut and I always go to Lita. Where else can you get a shampoo, cut, blow dry, and style all for $35?? Stanford mall you'd expect that to cost $60 or more. I've always been really happy with my hair after leaving here. She listens to exactly what I want and doesn't cut any more than I say to.

I first moved to Palo Alto about 18 months ago, and I randomly tried Hair International for a quick trim. Heather, one of the stylists, did a fantastic job. She was incredibly friendly, responsive to what I ask for, quick, and always on time. I have been so impressed with how consistently she has cut my hair, that I have continued to see her every few weeks. I couldn't and wouldnt go anywhere else.As someone who is very picky about their hair and how it is cut, I would highly recommend Heather. She's consistently good, and the service she provides is a true pleasure. You won't find anyone better.

This is a very cute place. They have great haircuts no matter who you get. It is really busy so i understand if the receptionists make a mistake. Its really a great place. Its really easy to find and everyone is really welcoming and friendly. And there is never a long wait. I would definetly recommend this place. Just be understanding if your appt. gets a little messed up. Its a hard job to keep such a busy place so organized.

I went to Hair International and had a great experience! Debbie was so helpful and friendly, and Alma did a wonderful job although I was particularly nervous about taking on a new stylist... I am picky about my short style! Now I know I have found one I will return to again and again.
