Please ignore phillygurl and her bad comments, I can't believe she had THAT bad of an experience. I have lived at Willow Shores for almot a year, but will be shortly moving out ONLY because I just started another job and I want to move closer to it. About ten minutes after I faxed my non renewal the manager called me to ask if there was any problems she could fix to convince me to stay, very nice. I have almost all positive things to say. I live in an updated two bedroom apartment, and yes it is a little pricey, but everything is brand new.. it looks like a kitchen out of an IKEA display. The initial deposit for an apt is only $500. Any other places I've lived in you need to pay a month and a half deposit. The one time I had to call maintenance it was a Sunday (I woke the kid up lol) I felt really bad & it turned out it was our upstairs neighbor who had the water leak, but he came with in a half hour on a SUNDAY! I was so thankful. You are allowed to have dogs, which is great, but the only bad thing is that the inital costs are so expensive. Parking is directly in front of the building and if you come home really late (like midnight) you may have to park in the back lot, which has only happened two or three nights and it literally is directly behind my building which means walking an extra 10 seconds. The office staff is so nice. No complaints there, they even send you a card on your birthday. lol. The pool is nice, there's always a lifeguard on duty, and even on Saturdays there's only a handful of people in there so you can always find a lounge chair. There is the occasional bug, but the apartment complex sends out a list of common 'spring/summer' bugs so you are prepared and it's not bad at all... I've seen only a few. I mean you are right next to the river/and there;s lots of trees/landscape around so it's to be expected. It's very close to shopping centers/malls/highways. AND there's a washer/dryer in the apartment, who deosn't love that. Overall, a 9 out of 10 from me.
