Palm Desert Middle School is affiliated with the Desert Sands Unified School District. The school is located in Palm Desert, Calif., and serves students in grades six through eight. Its library offers a wide collection of textbooks, fiction and nonfiction books, reference material, dictionaries, encyclopedias and newspapers. The school s curriculum includes English, social studies, science, mathematics, technology and language arts. It also offers classes in computer, physical education, music and art and craft. Palm Desert Middle School has many clubs, such as Youth for the Humane Treatment of Animals, California Junior Scholarship Federation, and drama, the wilderness, anime and Christian clubs. The school also ha several bands, including concert, cadet, jazz and panther bands.
