Low tire light came on while I was in the area. Tires filled w/nitrogen. Was referred to Plaza tire to accommodate this need. Was met by a sandy hair guy, whom obviously assumed that I was a good candidate for him to try his intimidation tactics upon. Not a wise assumption to make. First, he boldly and loudly asked me COULD HE HELP ME!! as if the sight of me aggravated him.Second, upon my inquiry as to how much it would cost to put a bit of nitrogen in the malfunctioning tire, he loudly proclaimed $20, and then stood there in a staring match w/me to gauge my response. This was absurd of course, as he well knew, but I was on a mission, therefore I left, and decided that I would deal w/him at a later time. Ended up in Mayfield to pick up my grandchild (which was my mission) , Popped in to the Plaza Tire across from the Walmart. The gentleman topped off all 4 tires at no charge. I gave him $10 for his kindness. His attitude reflected positively upon the store, which is something that the Paducah store ( Hinkleville Rd.) manager needs to take into consideration re: their offending employee. His attitude and behavior reflected very badly not only upon himself but the entire business. I would not recommend them ever! and will give them a bad review wherever and whenever I can. I have since called the corporate office to voice my complaint. Do not know if anything will transpire, but at least I did not just accept this "unacceptable" behavior from this obviously ungrateful and ignorant employee.
