I have learned so much from Kai Next Level Mixed Martial Arts! I started this as a way to learn self defense but it quickly turned into a passion of mine. Everyone on the team, every instructor, is so knowledgeable and great a teaching that there has never been a dull moment there. I highly recommend this team to anyone who is looking to learn mixed martial arts.

Kai MMA is a great place, wonderful staff, caring instructors. I've always wanted to do MMA, but always felt like I was going to be handed over to the Lions. Man was I wrong, everyone welcomed me with open arms. All of the instructors & students were so willing to baby step me into MMA. Now, 9 months later I feel like a Bad A$$ hehe, but it's the culture of helping one another on this journey that really stole my heart. I love it here.

Kai MMA is a great Martial school training facility that is worth time and money investment. I am not going to feel humiliated again and I am going to be of help to my dog that has always shield me from bad boys.

Great place! The instructors and Staff are Awesome. Place is always clean. I've been doing Brazil Jiu- Jitsu for about a year now. Classes are fun and informative. The Master is passionate, friendly and welcomes everyone with open arms. I can't wait to competed at my 1st event in a few months. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a 2nd home or an great escape for your day to day stresses.

I've been with Kai Next Level MMA now for 9 months. I love it! The instructors are so nice and kind. The place is always clean. The master has such a Passion for teaching! I have quit so many things in my past but this I can't ever see leaving! They are more then just instructors, they are people that when you are down with cheer you up. When you have a problem they will give you solid advice. Kai MMA has become a 2nd home to me. Thank you! My confidence has gone up so much in only a short period of time

Kai MMA gym is probably the best MMA school in Queens. When my original gym closed down, At Kai MMA is where I ended up and where I think I made the most progress.

First-- Kai himself is amazing. He's got a critical eye and even just a few minutes of his time is enough to up your game. I've gotten more critiques from Kai in a three minute round than in weeks somewhere else.

Second-- Kai's MMA students are talented. Every school has one or two students that stand head and shoulders above the rest. Not here. Almost everyone there is skilled. At their sparring sessions, despite training for 5 years, I was the worst one (which is great, it meant I had tons of people to learn from).

Third-- Everyone is friendly. Almost every time I go to a new gym, I expect to get the tar beaten out of me just to see if I'll come back. Happens a lot. Didn't happen hear.

Fourth-- They have classes that cater just to beginners. That way everyone can get the instruction that they need.

I am from the Ozone Park Queens. This is a Great place for anyone looking to do MMA. If you are ever in Ozone Park Queens, the only place to train is Kai MMA! Great people awesome Kids & Adult programs, friendly environment with great instruction. It has a ton of mat space with that old school respect & discipline. What else could you want?! Next time you are in Queens hit up Kai MMA in Ozone Park you won't be disappointed! Ossssss!!!!!

I've been doing martial arts for about 9 years, with Master Kai. I cant imagine training or learning enywhere else. This man didnt just gave me a path but saved me from a life with no porpuse. I tore a ligament on my knee during a soccer match, and i found myself lost not knowing what was next, i beeing doing sports since i was 14, and now martial arts is my new passion. In another words this is not just a martial arts school this is home, this is a place where nomatter who you are or where you from as long martial arts is in your heart this place is for you.

Beware. This school is a scam. Lots of complaints of the same nature. I signed up but was never told anything about a contract. They took my credit info and put it on a contract I never signed. They forge signatures. Don't sign nothing don't give them your credit card

This is a great MMA school! My kids started training here last summer and they are learning both the physical skills of karate as well as core values that go along, such as respecting self and others, and peaceful conflict resolution. This dojo also can work well with kids who have learning issues that impact their training.

My wife and I went to Kai MMA on the recommendation of our former coach as the only place to get high level MMA & Bjj training in the area. We found the training we wanted and then some, but the best thing about Kai MMA is the atmosphere. The coaches, staff and students are incredibly friendly and the coaches work hard to help everyone achieve their goals regardless of whether they want to be professional fighters or just work out and get in shape. The facilities are great and the prices are reasonable. I Highly Recommend this place

This place is wonderful. My 5-year-old son has been taking karate lessons here for five months and loves it. I think getting his orange belt was the proudest day of his life. The staff and instructors, especially Ms. Destiny, are great with children--attentive, engaged, thoughtful, and funny, but also constantly emphasizing discipline, respect, and learning. I can't recommend Kai Next Level MMA strongly enough.

Kai MMA is a really special place. I've been at

this MMA for over a decade now and have had the opportunity to train at a lot of high level gyms and I can definitely say Kai Next Level MMA is top notch.



First of all, the instruction and the quality of the jiu-jitsu is excellent. Jay, the gym owner, is a very knowledgeable black belt who is also extremely down to earth. He's done a great job of creating an environment that is very welcoming to everyone.



The experience levels in the student base is extremely varied. A class could consist of white belts just getting started, nationally-ranked competitors and black belts all training together; and it works out great! In my opinion, the reason this works so well is because of the welcoming environment I mentioned earlier. It truly is an ego-free place and everybody helps each other out.



If you're in the Queens area, definitely come by for a class. I have no doubt you'll learn a lot and have a fantastic experience!

My daughter started taking Kai MMA three years ago when she was 6 and I liked the feel of the place so much that several months later, I joined too. 

Kai MMA also teaches practical self defense courses and holds free meditation classes. There are other special opportunities like beach training, board breaking, potlucks, tournaments and performances too.

I have been training jiu jitsu for a bit now and I wanted to find a gym that would fit me a little better: I'm a young professional so I'm not exactly aiming to be a cage fighter. I also wanted to be able to train with someone who managed to teach on my level (read: I have no wrestling or mma experience) and encourage my flabby self to keep going back to the gym.

I was really glad to have found Master Kai & his Staff. From the start you see that he is a no frills guy who just loves to fight & teach. He's very approachable and not one of those biker tattoos looking fighters. He'll tell you that there are no secrets, just hard training. But he'll find ways to subtly encourage you to come back to training, even if that 150 LBS guy keeps mercilessly destroying you. And you'll realize this isn't part of his whole marketing scheme to get you to sign up: come talk to him after class, or hit him up for on Facebook, and he'll be glad to talk to you about your "game" and what you can do better. And most importantly he'll tell you about the things he went through as well, because when he started he had no fighting experience either. It's always a strange relief to hear someone else had such troubles!

The classmates were also very nice--their experience ranged so I felt comfortable training with the new guys like me and the experienced ones. Anyone will tell you that learning mma is an experience where you both teach and learn, and i really felt like there was a small community here.

The gym is also very clean, and that's not something you usually find in fight gyms, so I was very happy for that.

I'd recommend this place to anyone wishing to start on their fighting journey. I'd recommend it to experienced people as well because, come on, the guy is a Hall of famer

I've been training at Kai Next Level MMA since February 2009, and I love it. The instruction is top-notch--the teachers are some of the best teachers I've ever had for anything. The classes are physically and mentally challenging and a lot of fun.

Ive been going to Kai Next Level MMA Fitnes Program for about 3 months Now, Ive tried SOOOOO many other fitness Programs & Diets but nothing has worked for me. But i have to say their MMA Fitness is one of a kind. Master Kai is So Motivating, Luis is a killer & i wake up sore but it is so worth it. Ive lost over 15 pounds & counting! Special Thanks to Instructor Morales for Calling me & Ms Destiny for borthing me when ever i miss a Single Class lol. Im So Happy!

Master Kai's MMA Class is Great. I love Training along side all of his MMA Cage fighters.They are all here to help you out. Some of the Nicest people I've ever met. So Friendly!



I have even gone to see some of their shows. There is nothing like cheering for my classmates. Win or lose I love the feeling & energy of the events.



I personally I never plan on jumping in the ring but the MMA Cage workouts, you just cant beat! My Beer Belly was a Keg now its down to a 6 pack lol. Thanks Again.
