Rio Lindo Elementary School, located in Oxnard, Calif., offers education to more than 500 students in kindergarten through grade six. The school organizes various events and activities, including the Halloween fall festival, family games, movies, and reading and math nights. Founded in 1964, the school s facilities include a cafeteria, library, computer and science labs and playgrounds. Its academic curriculum includes English, mathematics, science, social studies, history, foreign languages, and health and physical education. The school is a part of the Rio School District, which also operates El Rio Elementary School, Rio del Norte Elementary School, Rio Plaza Elementary School and Rio del Valle Junior High School.
