I recently called for electrical help during a huge power outage and was desperate for help. Even though F and D were swamped, Jay spent time to refer me to an electrician that could help. I truly appreciate the courtesy and service that he provided!!

My old furnace broke down on one of the coldest days of 2003 with an infant in the house. I had to take off from work and call around to get someone to come out that day starting in the phonebook at A. Farnen & Dermer were the only company willing to see me that day. The technician came out within an hour, quickly diagnosed the problem, and fixed the old furnace without costing a fortune... which is what I expected for emergency service. They were great. So a couple of years ago, I decided to install CAC in my old house - who did I call... Farnen & Dermer. The price I paid for a new CAC installed and replaced the old furnace from them was over $3K cheaper than another estimate I received for just the CAC. Two gentlemen came out and did everything from start to finish in a few hours and were completely professional. Whenever I have heating or cooling issues, I am calling who I trust - Farnen & Dermer. I wish they did other types of home improvements.

When my a/c system broke down recently, I called to have someone come out and try to fix it for me. The technician came out and was very professional and explained to me what the problem was I was having and that fixing it on a 20 year old system would not be very economical. He explained to me I was better off replacing my system which will be cost efficient in the long run being that it will run much more efficiently than my old system. Farnen and Dermer installed my new heating and cooling system the next day and it was a great experience. The crew that installed the system was phenomenal and left my house cleaner than when they had came in! They were able to answer all of my questions regarding the new system and were extremely helpful. If you are in need of a replacement heating and cooling system, I recommend using Farnen and Dermer for the installation. I am very pleased with how the job turned out and it feels nice to be back with a/c.

first time customer. had a few minor plumbing issues and gave Farnen and Dermer a call. they sent a tech out within a couple hours of my call and the plumber was very knowledgeable and explained the problems I was having to me. he fixed the problems in a timely manner and gave me a very fair price before he began the repairs. I will use this company in the future for bigger jobs I need and will tell my family and friends to use these guys also. i was very happy after getting these issues taken care of‎

I had the misfortune of having my hot water heater bust and I called around 10 a.m. to have someone come out and take a look. By noon, they sent out a technician who was extremely helpful and he weighed out my options for me. I ended up going with the installation of a new tankless hot water heater because it provides unlimited hot water and is much more efficient than a tank water heater. Farnen & Dermer put the tankless water heater in that day and I had hot water back that evening. It is always a pleasure dealing with this company because they have very fair rates and the staff is great to deal with. I've been using Farnen & Dermer for years now and no other companies compare. Highly recommended!‎

My furnace broke down a few weeks back and I was in need of fast repair. I called around and wasn't able to get anyone out for the day until I called Farnen and Dermer(thank god!). They were able to send someone out within two hours of the call and the technician to come was very outgoing and professional. He was able to determine the problem quickly and gave an up-front price on the repair. He repaired my furnace and I was back in heat in no time. I have never dealt with a contractor like Farnen and Dermer before and I never plan to use anyone else because their excellent service has made me a customer for many years to come!
