Please consider my wife's experience recently. While doing her manicure and pedicure at same time (two spa people), her toe flesh was clipped well outside of the nail, creating pain and much bleeding, which was then treated with a "coagulant" and alcohol. They apologized for the incident, but did not ask what they could do to help her or to explain how it could have happened to cause such a cut well outside the nail edge.
