Headquartered in a building constructed in circa 1890, it is located on the historic River Row in Owego, New York with offices in the surrounding towns. Tri-Town is an independent insurance agent and brokerage firm representing all of the major A rated insurance companies in the United States, serving Upstate New York and Pennsylvania.In 1977, A. Thomas Poulton took the helm, and the intervening years have seen growth and prosperity, spiraling in a 60-mile radius encompassing Owego. Since 1980, Tri-Town has led the way in computerization, which translates into efficient and accurate claim handling when its insureds need it most. With clients in Broome, Chenango, Cortland, Delaware, Chemung and Tioga Counties, service is extremely important to the success and handling of clients needs. Realizing the importance of claims and service to its clientele early in the automation era, all of Tri-Towns locations are connected by a sophisticated computer system. This enables us to use a shared database so clients may obtain assistance at any location at anytime.
