Dr. Scott Mullen is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He completed a fellowship at the Steadman Hawkins Clinic. He earned his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine and completed his residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Born and raised in Wichita, Kansas, he has always had a passion for sports. After majoring in biology at the University of Kansas and attending the University of Kansas School of Medicine, he became a general surgery resident. However, after three years, he knew he wanted to pursue sports medicine. He was training for a marathon and loved talking with friends and neighbors about their sports-related injuries, so he switched to an orthopedics specialty. He compl
