. My go to for selling. They are thorough and have a mathematical method on their pricing as opposed to eyeballing then bartering. Im not particularly comfortable in wheeler dealer situations where heavy negotiations are needed to be treated fairly. At precious gems, I felt 100% at ease. Very gentle and approachable employees. Definitely be back to sell
The positive reviews must be fake here. I have had items appraised and valued at other places with professional documents only to be ignored. I had a 2nd had cash value assessment of $1125 only to be offered $90 by this theif. Hi tailed it out of there and you should do the same. BBB is filing my complaints so I am sure he will have to be taking down that logo off his website too!
This place is very fair with their prices they offer for gold. I got a bid from them today for some gold jewelry iwanted to sell to them and then went down the street to compare and their bid was twice as high as the 2nd place I went. This is the second time I have compared their prices to another place and both times Precious Gems and Metals offered to give me more money for my gold. I appreciate their honesty up front and will feel secure only going to them in the future.

I love this place, they have always been so kind and so helpful with me. My mom got me a ring from them and all she did was just give them a price range and diamonds from one of her old rings and they created a beautiful ring that i haven't gotten so many compliments on I can't even count. They are very helpful and so kind. I will always come back to them.
I have done business with Phillip and the guys at Precious Metals and Gems for a little while now. They work on my jewelry and even created a special ring for my daughter for graduation out of the diamonds from one of my rings! They do a great job!
This place took great care of my ring when I need a prong repaired. They charged me much less than the store I bought the ring from, and were very prompt in letting me know it was finished and ready to be picked up. Will be taking all my jewelry here for repairs from now on!
Brought a diamond ring here recently only to be smirked at and and offered about 50% of the gold value. Tried to negotiate but didn't seem to care about buying it. These guys are rude, and don't give a rip about their customers. Don't waste your time here!

I would never suggest doing business with someone that refuses to give you a receipt. That is why I will never do business here again. There is something really shady about a business that expects you to spend a couple of hundred dollars and refuses to give a receipt. Shady business is never good business folks.
Was in KC for a medical appointment and had some items that I wanted to sell. This business was first on my list. I was close but still was wanting confirmation on exact location. Here is a hint guys, who ever you have on the phone needs to have some skills in talking and helping people. Not an attitude and at the end of the conversation make the comment "what ever" then hang up. You lost a coin seller and buyer in me. I went to the #2 person/business and there people were very customer friendly over the phone and in person.
I had a great experience with Precious Metals and Gems. Carlos took very good care of me and I had a lot to choose from! He gave me a very good price on a ring for a friend that will be so happy when she sees it! I will be very popular this Christmas! I will definately shop there again.
