This company is very special. Tom and Johnny came out to my apartment and picked up two washers and two dryers. They took them to the store and tried them out, then paid me what they were worth. They were prompt and efficient and friendly. The work ethic this company adheres to is exceptional. I will certainly do business with them in the future!

I bought a washer and dyer set at Mr. Fix It, they were very helpful and the price was very reasonable, best customer service, i also asked about the delivery fee, i was told $65 for the distance ( i'm in leavenworth). I had read wnelson review about the delivery fee, so i talked to tom about it and he said that $50 will be paid out to his driver and also $15 for gas so that is how it got to $65.



When my washer and dryer set was delivery i had asked the delivery guy the same question and (yes) that is how he was paid $50 for the work and $15 for gas.



I would like to tell people who don;t know how a business works or how they do their pay out, please don't make up your own assumption and give the business a bad review.

Will never do business there again.

Tom told me the delivery fee was $65 but when I talked to the delivery guy they only paid him $50. I was supposed to get $20 credit for the used dryer I traded in but I have never seen the money. Lot of little things and Toms attitude just rubbed me the wrong way, he makes big promises and delivers very little.

Will never go back to this store and I advise against anyone considering it. Took a broken blender (vintage osterizer with rare design) in for repair, said they would work on it and get back to me. Went in to check on it after not hearing anything for a while and was told they were still trying to locate the necessary part and needed more time. After a little while longer of not hearing back, went to the store to pick up the blender and was told it had been "sent off" somewhere and they could not get it back. Their response was a very lame and insincere "sorry." Very upset about this as this blender belonged to my grandmother and we intended to keep it in the family. The store did not have the courtesy or good business service to call me and give me the chance to pick it up before they sent it to another location. They also have not been able to tell me where it was sent to. (possibly the trash) I would say this definitely goes against the guarantee they list on their website of "We Guarantee you’ll love the work we do or we’ll make it right! Our aim is complete customer satisfaction." BS.

I wouldn't buy a vacuum or app...

Great Great Store!!! I wouldn't buy a vacuum or appliance from anyone else! Very great, affordable products with awesome warranties. I come from over 2 hours away to get vacuums and appliances here. I wish more businesses were ran like this one!!!!

I recently visited Mr. Fix It on Metcalf, and I must say they have wonderful customer service! Tom was so helpful and friendly! If my vaccum should break down again, I won't have to second guess where to take it!

I purchased a Dyson, and was t...

I purchased a Dyson, and was told I could turn in a use rug cleaner for a credit. They would not put the credit toward the Dyson, and I had to put the purchase on a credit card because it was to be shipped from the factory. I did get the Dyson, and they did assemble it for me, but I had to use the "credit" for another purchase. I was told I had a $15 credit and it was in the computer. They did not indicate this on any of the paperwork. I decided to use the credit to have a watch battery installed, and was told they could not find my credit, but it would be OK, and the watch would be ready in a couple of days. Two weeks later I had to call to see about the watch. I was told they had been busy and were just getting to it. Then when I went to get the watch, I was told I only had a $5 credit, and that they had conveniently fond it in the computer after the fact. They would not honor what I was originally told was my credit and they would not give me the $5 in cash. I could have gotten the battery replaced while I waited at another location for $8. Do not trade in anything for a "credit" without a receipt. I will not go back even though I like the Dyson. I should have gone to Nebraska Furniture Mart for it and skipped the credit.

Dear Sierran,



When you had called in, you never told us that your vacuum didn't work and also never told us that you had a mini dirt devil and not a regular size vacuum.



We have been known to give anywhere from $5 dollars to $150 depending on what type and condition of the vacuum.



In all due respect, the vacuum that you wanted to buy was only $29 dollars not $45 dollars so if you are going to tell a story you need to include truthful facts.



We consider taking your vacuum as a trade in only as a courtesy to you to help you save money. The only thing that we would do with your vacuum is throw it in the trash after you leave, because of the non-working filthy condition it was in.



If you felt like you vacuum was worth so much, why would you even ask about trading it in?



Also regarding the filter issue, don't know if you recall, but you had ask for a filter for your vacuum we then said "I do have the filter for your vacuum, but i don't think a filter would solve your problem".



If you have any knowledge about vacuum, you would know that the vacuum that was recommended to you was an Oreck. The thing with Oreck vacuum is they tent to look older and they don't look modern or fashionable, the Oreck that was recommended to you was about 5 years old.



You came in asking for a recommendation on which vacuum you should get, but you fail to mention that you were you didn't want to spend over $30 dollars.



You complain that we didn't give your enough for you trade in, but what you fail to realize is that your vacuum has no value. Don't know what you expect out of a retail store, but who in their right mind would give you more that $5 dollars for a non-working filthy vacuum when you are only purchasing a $29 product.



Try getting any kind of trade value at Walmart or Target...

Great Prices and Great Selection.

They accept trade-ins and always have 5% off everything in the store.

I liked that they had new and used vacuums and other small appliances for sale.

We saved money and time plus they have a 30 day warranty on used vacuums
