Community Blood Center (CBC) was founded in 1958 as a nonprofit, community-based blood center providing blood and blood products to hospitals and other organizations. Today, CBC provides blood products to over 70 hospitals in the Greater Kansas City metropolitan area, eastern Kansas, and western Missouri.
