      Overland Park Public Works Department, located in Overland Park, Kan., is responsible for providing a range of utility services. The department supervises administration, engineering and maintenance divisions. It provides various services, including project construction, city property maintenance, pavement marking, pothole patching, traffic sign design, snow and ice removal, storm water system repair, street light inspection and street construction. The department installs high-pressure sodium streetlights. It provides various pavement repairs through crack sealing, microsurfacing, slurry sealing, cape sealing and asphalt overlaying. It maintains various city properties, including curbs, potholes, traffic signals, streetlights, sidewalks and pavements. The public works department also analyzes and prepares traffic accident reports.
