Abdulraheem Qasem, MD, is a Board-certified medical oncologist and hematologist with AdventHealth Medical Group Hematology Oncology at Shawnee Mission. He treats all types of cancer and his clinical areas of interest include gastroenterological, breast and colorectal cancers. The AdventHealth Cancer Center Shawnee Mission is a certified member, and Dr. Qasem is a certified provider, of MD Anderson Cancer Network®, a program of MD Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Qasem earned his medical degree from Jordan University of Science and Technology School of Medicine, and he completed his internal medicine residencies at King Hussein Cancer Center in Amman, Jordan, and at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He also completed a medical oncology-hematology fellowship and a graduate certificate in clinical research at UMKC. He joined AdventHealth in 2017.
