Crestliner s history in the boating industry began in 1946. The company is a manufacturer and marketer of several lines of aluminum boats. It specializes in the design and production of fishing, sporting, pontoon and utility boats. The company operates a manufacturing facility with more than 200 employees in Little Falls, Minn. In 2004, Crestliner became a subsidiary of the Brunswick Boat Group. Based in Knoxville, Tenn., the Brunswick Boat Group, a unit of Brunswick Corporation, is a maker of pleasure boats with 2005 net sales of $2.8 billion. The Boat Group makes Albemarle, Baja, Bayliner, Boston Whaler, Cabo Yachts, Lund, Maxum, Meridian, Princecraft, Sea Boss, Sea Pro, Sea Ray, Sealine and Trophy boats; Attwood marine parts and accessories; Benrock, Diversified Marine, Kellogg Marine and Land 'N' Sea parts and accessories distributors; and IDS dealer system management.
