I would like to clarify the pet policy for prospective renters. I had done much research and was very excited to find a complex that would accommodate my pug and french bulldog and very disappointed to find out the reason that I was not accepted at cortland ridge was because their combined weight is greater than 20 lbs.

Dont ever apply to this place. They try to cheat on your application fee. Kim O'brien and Irene(I think thats her name, the manager) are absolutely horrible. We applied the housing and Kim guaranteed us a place to live. So we paid 120 dollars for two people to live there. Then she starts telling us the resident who plans to move by the end of the month are not moving anymore and apartment is 100% leasesd, so we have no place to live and the money is being refunded. We talked to the manager Irene about it but she is RUDE, she kept yelling/screaming, pointing at us and saying Kim never guarantee the house for us. The stuff their are absolutely bitches and useless. Do not live here. This place does not even deserve one star.

The place is falling apart; the staff is completely useless. The trash is regularly overflowing and no one is capable of explaining why they cannot perform basic services. Look elsewhere, dont get involved with them, its not worth it.

I have been a resident for several years and would recommend Cortlandt Ridge to my friends and family. The staff here are very responsive to my needs. After reading the negative review, I diasagree with him/her. I have not experienced a bug problem. I have faith that the staff would remedy any problem I would have.
