Gowan Construction is a full-service general construction company that specializes in a variety of projects. Established in 1962, it oversees a professional staff of more than 125 employees, including civil engineers and construction management and clerical personnel. Gowan Construction works on various projects related to bridge and box culverts, landfills, parking lots, wastewater collection systems, pump stations, and road, highway and airport reconstruction. It also undertakes golf course, railroad improvement, lime stabilization, ditching, flood protection, and urban and rural demolition projects. In addition, the company provides heavy hauling and equipment rental services. Gowan Construction is a member of the Land Improvement Contractors of America (LICA) and the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC).
