As the founder of Iowa Carry (Iowa Firearms Coalition) who worked to bring the "Shall Issue" permit system to Iowa and a Firearms Instructor for 16 years I have dedicated a lot of time to the issue and have worked hard to develop thorough courses. HFI believes owning, using and carrying a firearm is a heavy burden and possibly one of the single greatest responsibilities never to be taken lightly. Whether you've never had any experience with a firearm, are a beginning shooter or you are very experienced with your firearm, our goal is to provide quality instruction in the use and safety of firearms.

Hay Steve it waz a good class in tipton that u did I did kno a lot of things but kno some now,I kno u had to run throw da par few min of da last session of da class but there r a few more question I would like to ask u knowing da right way n da wrong way,thank-you again Brian,Dean

Steve taught us about the law on being able to carry a handgun like a pro! He kept us all awake and focused in the long gun class. I enjoyed the pictures and videos he showed us and it kept us all interested. The way he taught us was very important too, I can actually remember it all. If you ask me a question about the carry law, I can most likely answer it. I enjoyed the class even though it was long but you could definately tell that Steve believed in what he was telling us and it was as important to him as it was to us to remember the law and to obey by the law. I would recommend his class to anyone!

Steve was a wonderful instructor. I learned alot of things about firearms from him that I didn't know. I left his classroom with a new respect for my firearms and he really made me think about the reason I wanted to get a carrying permit. I would recommend him over and over again to anyone.
