During my 35+ years of experience as a clinical social worker I have repeatedly been impressed by the resiliency and determination of people who are facing tough life challenges. I work with individuals, couples and families. I use a variety of counseling theories and methods, tailoring my responses to what seems to work for each person. My role is to walk beside you providing support as you explore your thoughts, feelings, actions and decisions. You will learn new coping strategies while discarding those that no longer work for you. My hope is that you leave counseling loving, respecting and trusting yourself and others, healed from your pain and excited to face your future.
