I took my dog to this Doctor. She was 13 years old and very sick. The doctor did all kinds of tests and my bill was $569. The diagnosis was worms. One month later, after continuing to vomit 6 or 7 times a day, my dog died of cancer. The office gave me a quote of approx $300 over the phone. When I got to the office the quote went to $460 before the Doctor even examined my dog and then I was charged $569 at the desk upon leaving the office. What they did was exactly what they had quoted over the phone which was just an exam and a blood test. During the next 4 weeks, while my dog slowly died in misery, the only thing the doctor could think of was to have me come back in for $200 more in xrays and maybe an ultra sound for another $190. I found out later that a simple inexpensive test that many Vets do for free could have told us she was dying of cancer and we could have saved her from a month of suffering.
