Strates Shows is a family-owned and operated company that offers a range of entertainment options. The company organizes various railroad carnivals that feature rides and games. It employs more than 350 people, as well as maintains over 60 railcars and nearly 30 trucks. Established in 1923, the company also operates a train that features flat, sleeping and generator cars. It offers a variety of rides, such as top spin, sky divers, swings, bumble bees, roller coasters, slides, bumper boats and cars, and sky and giant wheels. In addition, Strates Shows maintains a poster store, as well as offers transportation services to several fairs, including livestock shows and exchange clubs.
