Founded in 1997, Central Florida News 13 is a cable-based news station that broadcasts 24-hour live, local and breaking news. It serves Volusia, Seminole, Orange, Osceola, Lake, Marion, Flagler and Brevard counties in Central Florida. The television station airs a program called For the Record, in which two personalities from the station speak with area leaders and other influential people about important regional topics. Central Florida News 13 is affiliated with CNN and is a part of Bright House Networks, which provides cable television entertainment and high-speed Internet access to more than 800,000 customers in throughout Central Florida. Central Florida News 13 is located in Orlando, Fla.
