Aerial Cartographics of America, established in 1973, is a full-service professional photogrammetric firm in Orlando, Fla. The company has one of the largest full-service color and black and white photo and digital laboratory in the Southeast, capable of producing a wide range of products in-house. Its services range from aerial photography to geographic information system consulting. The firm s staff includes photogrammetrists and licensed professional surveyors and mappers. Some of the services provided by ACA include photographic laboratory services, digital mapping, digital orthos, laser imaging detection and ranging and photography by low level helicopter flights. ACA has two fixed wing aircraft that utilize Track Air flight management software for all flights. The company s 3-D digital mapping system uses photogrammetric techniques to collect data on roads, sidewalks, buildings, fences, poles, surface utility features, water and vegetation.
