The atmosphere was nice. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. I started out with a glass of overpriced red wine served in a white wine glass, which was quite small. For the price of the glass of wine I could buy an entire bottle at the local liquor store. For a starter I ordered the calamari which was also overpriced especially considering that it was taken out of the freezer and thrown into a deep fryer. For the price of the calamari I was expecting to get a large amount but instead there was barely enough to satisfy the smallest of appetites. Moving on to the main course we ordered the deep fried fish. The cod and the walleye were over breaded and greasy and the fries were mushy. The only thing that was decent and I mean, meets expectations, was the soup and how can you mess up premade soup. I would love to go out and have a glass of red wine some calamari, followed by a satisfying fish dinner and walk away not thinking at all on the price because it was that good. Instead I walked away with buyer’s remorse.
