I was looking for a shade or blind for west facing living and dining room double hung divided-light windows that have no drapery. If hung in the room, the mounting would either be on or above the casings.
Geoff showed me where mountings would go, and we decided rather than use an interior solution, an exterior shade would be better. It would both limit the UV penetration and keep the interior casings free.
He helped me choose a shade fabric and color, took measurements, and placed the order. Later, he worked with my schedule to set a day and time to install.
Installation went smoothly on the windows, but additional parts were needed for a shade to clear the door, when opened.
Geoff returned to install the door shade.
The look from both inside and outside is clean and simple. Rooms are cooler.
I appreciated Geoff's attention to detail and excellent communication about products, pricing, and installation. No worries here!

Bought blinds here years ago. Im so excited they added Drapery. I just ordered some side panels to soften up the room and compliment my aspen blinds.

On time! Very professional! HUGE selection, and very good at educating me on different products and helping narrow down my decision. After educating me on child safety and energy efficiency I bought Hunter Douglas Duette Architella with Powerise and Applause Honeycomb with Cordless Literise. Lovely, and functional. Aspen Blinds, Hunter Douglas, and the government are all doing specials and rebates on these products so we REALLY saved!

I found Aspen on this site and after reading the previous view I decided to give them a shot. My wife always gets tons of bids. Aspen was only our second and they weren't cheaper but it was so obvious we had found a professional window coverings company, and being quality obsessed we purchased. AFTER we purchased we received additional discounts from Aspen, rebates from Hunter Douglas, and tax credits for buying energy efficient honeycomb shades, and our purchase ended up being CHEAPER than our first bid!!! How often does that happen after you sign the dotted line! Plus we got free temporary privacy shades and our coverings came a week earlier than estimated! Hence I decided the least I could do is leave a few reviews. We will be calling Aspen back to do our basement when we remodel that next year! If your shopping for window coverings definitely give Aspen a shot! Thanks!

I can highly recommend this company to anyone who is looking for blinds or other window coverings. In the past we have purchased from large a home improvment store, thinking they had the best quality and prices. We were wrong. We have now used Aspen Blinds 4 times with high quality and I think the best price we have paid. We recently purchased a room darkening shade for our guest room and it works so well that we will soon be ordering some for our master bedroom. They are also a certified repair facility for Hunter Douglas Blinds and we will be having Aspen Blinds do some repairs on a couple pull cords that are fraying. “I have no hesitation giving my highest recommendation for Utah Aspen Blinds. Geoff Larson had the best prices, best attention to detail, and truly outstanding service from start to finish. I got bids from 4 blind companies and Geoff was the only one who really listened to what I wanted and didn’t try to push something I didn’t need or want. We bought 2 ½ in Hunter Douglas blinds and had a couple windows with shutters, including a window that was already cased in knotty alder. I was afraid that the new alder shutter wouldn’t match the existing casing. But it was an absolutely perfect match. It’s the centerpiece of the whole room. All of his measurements were precise to within 1/8” and I’m so happy that I didn’t go with the cheap stuff from Lowe’s or Home Depot, not to mention the headaches of installing them. Geoff’s prices include installation. In fact, at the time of the installation, I was out of state, and Geoff kept in constant communication with me. He made the whole process easy and my wife and I couldn’t be more satisfied.”
After wasting my time and money with a local big name blind company,an internet blind company, a "budget" window covering company,and home improvement center blinds, I finally found Aspen Blinds. The owner, Geoff returned my call promptly, and came to my home to show me the widest selection of samples I had ever been presented with. He was professional, knowledgeable and friendly.Absolutely NO PRESSURE! He gave me plenty of time and options. I ended up getting something totally different than what I had originally planned on because he informed me of options I never even knew existed. He put FREE privacy shades up right away as soon as I had placed my order, and my blinds were here in DAYS, not weeks! The expert installation was quick & well done, with no mess left behind when he was done. I cannot recommend Aspen Blinds highly enough! Call them today, you won't be sorry!

The two sets of honeycomb blinds that we ordered from Aspen Blinds were of excellent quality and were promptly and professionally installed. We were pleased with the wide selection of products that they have to choose from. We definitely will buy blinds from this company again.
I ordered blinds from Aspen Blinds and am very satisfied. The owner was on time to measure, and was very thorough in the measuring. He showed me a selection of blinds to choose from and pointed out the differences between companies and so I was able to find exactly what I was looking for. He carried a wide selection to choose from. He placed my order with the company I choose the same day he did the measuring and so delievery was prompt. Installation was precise and the blinds look great. With this being a smaller company I think that the customer service is more valued than with larger companies who survive on their name only. I would highly recommend this company to others and gladly give Aspen Blinds a 5-star rating.
