We just moved cross country and were thrilled to find that there was a drive in here, like our previous area. However, unlike the theater we previously attended, this drive in is poorly designed with small and dirty facilities. The parking area is entirely flat and because of this, trucks are forced to park in the last row. The other theater had mounds and was slanted so that the vehicles in the back of the lot were set up higher than those in the front, additionally, they had various parking spots throughout that were designated for larger vehicles (front row, in front of concessions, etc). If you decide to visit this theater on a weekend I encourage you to choose a vehicle other than a truck; because of the designated parking, we had the last row view (despite coming very early), the lights right outside the window, and the noise from screen 2 which was directly behind us. Additionally, the bathrooms were tiny, dirty and there was no soap. I was taken back by the $5 outside food fee because the previous theater had similar priced admission without this fee, but it was the rest of the experience that truly disappointed. If we had never been to another drive in, we may not have minded, but we've seen a well executed theater and the Sundance Kid is far from it.

always loved this drive-ln.. but now they charge $5 if you bring in your own drinks/snacks..they patrol the lot busting ppl. what BS!

I haven't been there for years (8 years) and finally went. Now they charge you 5 dollars to bring your food in, the bathrooms are very nasty, and their food is awful! i wish they never changed it. Won't go back.

I have gone to this drive-in for many years and have enjoyed taking my children there but this year was a completely different experience. Not only do they charge you five dollars to bring any outside food or dink (even water), they go around shining flashlights in cars to see if you are eating any other food than their food. I found it completely ridiculous. I have always brought food in but also bought food too. If I go back again I will pay the 5 dollars for the fee but purchase no food from them.

We go to the drive in every week in the summer. Lots of fun! we bring chairs and get there early. The kids play ball while we wait for the movie to start. Can't imagine a summer without the drive in...

My children and I visit Sundance quite often every season. The sound quality is superb and the snack bar food is even better! There is also ample parking and bathroom facilities. We love it.
