Orangevale Recreation & Park District is about power and control!
Don't believe me?
One day a few ago's, i went to see and talk to the District Administrator Greg Foell in his office, at the commnuity center. This was after the Board hired administrator Foell.
I was in his office, even sitting down in a chair!
We were talking when he said the District was about "Power & Control"!
I couldn't believe my ears, i almost verbally went off. But i new if i did i could never come back!!!!!
Turns out a few years later, the District Administrator, at the directions of the District's law firm Dave McMurchie Law, banned me from coming to the distritc's office in person!!!!!
Sincerely
Terry Benedict
a 45 year Orangevale resident
PS; In 2012, i was a new candidate for "director" of this Independent Special District, a legally separate polictical subdivision of the State of Californa, and it is "only" accountable to the registered voters of Orangevale, and only when they vote, if they vote! Turns out alot of residents did not vote, i've asked them! How sad! And when they did vote (2012) they voted for the wrong residents. Also sad!
At one time, as an Orangevale resident i thought this district and its elected Board would care about me and would serve me? I could not have been more wrong!
As a matter of "fact", during a Board of Directors meeting a couple of years ago, while i was standing at the podium, Chairman of the Board Michael Stickney publicly stated to me "i do not want a dialogue with you"! Wow how nice! Don't look in the meeting minutes for his statement, its not there, only in the audio recording will you find it!
