Puppy Love is booked solid, sometimes up to two weeks. Due to this, we have sometimes carried our dogs to other groomers - each time to be very disappointed. There is no equal to the grooming at Puppy Love. To the person who stated that the groomer wouldn't show you the "tricks of the trade" - this isn't a grooming school and there are many of us on waiting lists to get our pets into this groomer. Why would they spend the time to show you how to groom your dog when that is what they're in the business of doing? Do you go into Bistro Aix and ask the chef to show you how to make their signature escargot? I would hope not! I'm sure you could search youtube regarding self grooming techniques. Puppy Love groomers are top of the line and if you don't believe me - try getting a same day or even same week appointment! I recently spent $45 for a groom that would have cost me only $25 at Puppy Love because I couldn't get my dog in on such short notice - I once again regret going somewhere else.

When Kay was the original owner she was so nice and with my two standard poodles taught me how to groom, same with my old english sheep dog. This was 15 yrs ago. Recently got a new Sheepdog and had done all the grooming except the head and needed some help with grooming the head, the son refused esp allowing me to be present to see the tricks of the trade as he put it. Kind of sad when it was his mother who taught me the tricks of the trade. I would recommend Pet smart or any other groomer after that type of comment. His concern was he does 40 dogs a day.
