I am disappointment in KC’s Car wash/Car center in Orange NJ. I decided to take my new car to this location and had no problem in the past. It is known for the “Best Hand Wash Ever”. On the 4th visit during the pandemic I noticed days later all four rims were destroyed. I waited a couple of days because of the rain storms. I went back to the location on 360 Thomas Blvd and expressed my concerns to the young lady behind the desk and she told me the owner was Jose who was outside wiping down cars. I approached him and he was not pleasant. Jose started saying right away this damage was not completed by his workers and it looked like acid was used on the wheels. Customer service went out to the window. I was not being treated fairly. I kept walking after him because was moving around. I know for a fact if I was a Caucasian middle-age woman I would have been treated fairly. I mentioned I was going to contact the police to place a report this ill treatment. After going back and forth he said it’s a busy day and he directed me to go through the car wash so he could examine the wheels. After the hand wash Jose put Armor All on the wheels and rims which darken my silver rims. He then told me to come back on Monday morning so he could buff the rims. I left my name and phone number. I returned Monday morning and the young lady behind the desk stated he was out at the bank and provided a card with a name Gary-Barry as the owner. I waited and had no luck. A male worker came over and said Jose is off today and to come back the next day. I again, left my name and phone number. I called the next day and was given the round-around. I then realized I was lied to. As of today, I have not heard back from anyone from KC’S Car Care Center. My car still has damaged rims. Photos attached.
