Portola Middle School is a part of the Orange Unified School District. Established in 1958, the school has an enrollment of more than 950 students in grades six, seven and eight. Its traditional curriculum includes science, math, reading, social studies and English. The school s counselors monitor children s progress and provide necessary personal and small group interventions. Portola Middle School also welcomes and encourages parents to participate in extracurricular activities. It additionally provides special attention on the educational programs for students who are non-English speaking.
