This is probably one of the worst pet stores I have ever been to. Ever. They might say this is where the healthy pets go, but if you actually shop there, its is HORRIBLE. There is poop in water dishes animals crowded into small enclosures, and worst of all, employess that know nothing about taking care of a pet. I went here to buy a rat, and what did I see? Atleast fifteen rats in a cage the size of a cubby, crowded into one corner using the bathroom on themselves in terror. EVERY SINGLE ONE were sick, sneezing every other minute. My stupid decision? I bought the cleanest one. When I brought him home he was very sick. Yes, he did heal though. A couple months later, I buy a bigger cage for him. I open it up, and guess what? There was multiple pieces missing. So I called them. They were no help it all, very poor customer service. Another time, we bought a gecko from them. The man we worked with picked it up by its head and droppedit in a box. He procceded to explain how mealworms were a staple diet, along with crickets, which is true, but when he went toget the "Meal worms" he comes back with SUPERWORMS. These people have no idea what they are doing. Never shop here. Ever.

I have been in this Petco twice since it opened to look for things I couldn't find anywhere else. Both times, there was never anyone there to check me out. I had to go around the store looking for a cashier. Also the employees know virtually nothing about pets. They can't even answer simple questions. You are better off going to a small independent store where the people know what they are talking about.
