About Dutchland PlasticsDutchland Plastics Corporation was established in 1967 by Bill and Nancy Claerbout. Their sons, Carl and Daven, assumed complete ownership on January 19, 2006 ; the day after Bill's 80th birthday, after having been business partners with their parents for more than 20 years. Daven's children, being third generation, are also involved in the company, and work with about 200 other dedicated, loyal employees who make up the foundation of our well-respected reputation.We also have a reputation for great quality and excellent service. As seen in our values, we are very serious about quality ; we are ISO certified, we use quality as one of our metrics, and we also prepare daily quality reports that are shared with everyone internally. Dutchland Plastics also has a diverse team of customer service representatives, which includes our engineers, customer relations associates, and sales force, which is lead by Daven, one of our owners. We were recently honored to present our customer service tactics at the Association of Rotational Molders ( ARM ) Annual Meeting. ARM is our industry specific organization ; of which we have been highly involved in since 1978, and in which Daven has been a Board Member for over ten years, and is currently serving his 2nd consecutive, third term as President.Dutchland Plastics is advantageously located, with facilities in Wisconsin and New York, both epicenters of the manufacturing industry. Our Headquarters are in the small town of of Oostburg WI, which is in close proximity to Milwaukee and Chicago ; we also have excellent relations with our pattern and mold makers, who are conveniently located less than 30 minutes away. Dutchland Plastics houses 14 rotational machines and 10 blow molding machines, and have the capabilities to meet some of the largest dimensions presented to the industry, with up to 18 feet in diameter for our rotational molding and up to a 50 pound shot for our blow molding.Currently, we are aiming toward continuous improvement with our commitment to lean manufacturing, one piece flow, increased efficiency, and more competitive positioning.
