I've been getting tattooed by Jason (Owner/Artist) at Golden Lotus since it first opened in 2005. His raw artistic talent and vision combined with his professionalism, attention to detail, shop cleanliness and ability to communicate with his clients from concept to finished product can be observed not only in his work but also in the artists he brings into the shop that work along with him. I've seen many shops and Artists come and go on Main Street, the Golden Lotus has stood strong since it's inception and has established itself as a pillar of the community as well as one of the hubs for the Art scene in Oneonta. There's a few choices in town these days, but for myself there's really only the Lotus.

I entrusted them with my 1st tattoo, big mistake my female grim reaper fully clothed now has camel toe, many places have offered to fix this issue but I keep it as a reminder of how people can be so rude. It was NOT in the drawing I gave them or in the template he put on my arm. It was a last minute addition... I'll never grt ink here again
