Operational for more than 60 years, Utility Engineering provides a range of engineering, design and management services to the electric power industry and other industrial markets. Its services include project management and development, consulting, procurement, construction management and commissioning. Utility Engineering has undertaken various power plant projects that include all sizes of coal-fired and conventional gas-fueled units, gas turbines in simple and combined cycle applications, conventional and pumped-storage hydro projects and diesel-generator units. Additionally, Utility Engineering has completed coal, gas and plant betterment projects for utilities, industrial and cogeneration facilities, developers and other energy service providers. Utility Engineering is a wholly owned subsidiary of Zachry Group, which is a privately-owned construction and industrial maintenance service company. Headquartered in Denver, Utility Engineering maintains offices in offices in Minneapolis, Amarillo, Texas, and Omaha, Neb.
