Have been going to Susie's for over 20 years. All my girls, both past and present love/d Susie. Highly recommend!

We have been going to Susie's for almost 4 years. Prior to this we went to another groomer closer to our home. Our dog would shake and be scared every time he came and left. At Susie's it's a totally different story. He's excited when he gets there. The staff is wonderful. It's clean, you can see what's going on. My parents have been going there for probably 10 years and have nothing but the best things to say about it. I would highly recommend.

I was amazed at the reviews that said that Suzies grooming was run by young girls. I've gone there for several years and they've had the same staff that entire time and they weren't young girls, they must all be in their late twenties to late thirties and older. They've always been very professional and my nervous dog has grown into a very trusting happy dog who actually enjoys getting groomed. I would say the two bad reviews come from someone who has an axe to grind. I've always been extremely pleased and would recommend the most nervous dog to be groomed there. They obviously are kind and can handle difficult dogs, mine is a prime example.

I've been taking my Poodle to Susie's for 4 years. My vet recommended Susie's, where she takes her Poodle, when I was trying to find an alternative to the mass production line of Petco. I immediately was very pleased with the atmosphere, where the front counter is separate from the grooming room, but you can still see the dogs being groomed. And I don't have to listen to Petco's cranky old lady who wants me out of there because she deperately needs a smoke break. While the girls aren't friendly, they have never been mean to me. They do good work. Sometimes great work. Sometimes I've been disappointed. There needs to be more consistency with quality. I think the current crew needs some incentives to give them better attitudes and not be satisfied with mediocrity. After all, most of us get stuck in a rut at some point in our jobs/careers. If incentive doesn't do the trick, perhaps a new crew would.

I have been taking my two shitzus to Susies for several years and am very satisfied.I have a very neurotic dog and she seems to tolerate the grooming here well. I have tried others and had worse results. The groomers always seem nice to me. Sometimes nasty people get nasty responses. I like that the groomer station is wide open. Whenever I pick up my dog I watch the groomers with the other dogs and they always seem professional and kind to the pets.

I don't usually write these things, but after what "never again" and "disappointed and disgusted" wrote (the same person), I had to speak up. That review is just vicious.I take both my dogs there, and they are usually really nice and at a minimum normal. Everybody has a bad day and can be a little rude - I suspect this is the real issue for this reviewer (i.e.-retribuition). The other reviewer had 3 issues:treated rudely, "don't get me started" on what I saw when I showed up early, and my dog shook/cried. "Don't get me started" doesn't tell us anything - I have been there many times at different times of the day while they are grooming, and while the dogs aren't smiling and skipping while being groomed, they seem to be calm and controlled. As far as their dog shaking/crying, mine do not. And they are wussies. I recommend Suzy's

THE EXPERIENCE THAT I HAD AT THIS FACILITY WAS HORRIFIC. THE STAFF CONSISTED OF YOUNG, UNPROFFESIONAL GIRLS THAT WERE EXTREMELY RUDE TO ME. I WONDER HOW THEY TREAT THE PETS?! I WAS FOOLED BY THE PLEASANT LOOKING FACILITY. DONT YOU BE FOOLED TOO. DONT PUNISH YOUR PET. MY PUPPY NEVER CRIED OR SHOOK WHEN I HAD DROPPED HIM OFF AT THE OTHER GROOMERS. HE DID AT SUSIES. THE THIRD TIME I BROUGHT HIM THERE, I WITNESSED THE REASON. I HAPPENED TO BE EARLY TO PICK HIM UP AND WHAT I SAW BEING DONE AT THIS PLACE WAS THE LAST TIME FOR ME AND MY PUPPY. DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED ABOUT THOSE LITTLE GIRLS THAT CALL THEMSELVES "STAFF". I WILL BE GOING BACK TO PETSMART. AT LEAST THERE I CAN SEE HIM THROUGH THE WINDOWS.

I will keep this review short. Horrible experience!! Beware of the young girls that clearly don't have much experience with pets or people. The environment is beautiful, so don't judge a book by it's cover. The staff was horribly unproffesional and RUDE to say the least. I wonder how my pet was treated when I wasn't present. There were warning signs. My pet cried when I dropped him off and shook each time I picked him up. 3 times was enough!! One thing is for sure, I won't punish my puppy by bringing him back to that horrible place!

I have taken my dog to Susie's and LOVE the way my dog looks and feels when he comes home. The staff is very friendly, and the grooming was perfect. I would recommend Susie's to anyone looking for a professional and caring groomer!

I'm so happy with the groomings I've recieved at Susie's. She has the cutest shop and a wonderful caring staff. I could not imagine going anywhere else.
