I got three bids and Stumpy's was right in the mix. Scott called me back quickly and arranged for a grind time. He arrived on time and knocked it out in an hour or so. He told me he'd grind 8 inches below grade and take care of the roots. He ground out everything in a 6 foot diameter around the tree stump. And I would bet he went down at least 16 inches below grade! With the massive grind area, the ratio of chips to dirt was low. All I have to do is level, screed off about 4 inches and replace with clear top soil. Its been the easiest stump removal I've ever had done.... I've done three over the years.



Stumpy's is quick, thorough, friendly and on time. Their pricing is super and their service is second to none. I wouldn't have gotten half the service from the other two contractors...
