The Boy Scouts of America is one of the largest youth organizations in the United States. Founded in 1910 as part of the Scout Movement, the organization has more than 100 million members. The Boy Scouts of America provides various educational programs for boys and young adults. The organization recognizes the achievements of Boy Scouts through advancements in rank and special awards. It offers various programs to boys between the ages of 7 and 17. The Boy Scouts of America operates locally through various volunteer-led units, troops, packs and crews.
