Located in Omaha, Neb., The Lutheran Home is a full-service nursing and rehabilitation center. It offers personalized service and health care plans in addition to nursing care and rehabilitative services. The center has a team of skilled professionals who represent medical, nursing, social service and dietary departments. The Lutheran Home offers dental, hearing and therapeutic services; regular health assessments and counseling; crisis intervention medical services; and home safety evaluations. The center maintains in-house podiatry and eye care units and a psychiatry laboratory with 24-hour licensed staff. Its rehabilitation services include adaptive equipment education, speech therapy, wheelchair management, cognitive retraining, gait training with appropriate devices, and balance and coordination exercises.
