Founded in 1913, (back in the days of Trolley Cars) Janousek's Florist, Greenhouse and Gift, opened its doors with a firm commitment in serving the people of Omaha. Nearly 100 years have past since then - much has changed, but our families commitment "to serve", remains our pledge. I tried Janousek Florist because I needed to send flowers to a funeral. I had no idea what to send. The staff at Janouseks were very friendly and helpful. They helped me pick a style and then suggested to use leave it to the designers to make it beautiful!
When I saw the bouquet at the funeral home, it was better than I ever expected! I received many compliments from the family that it was the prettiest one there! I now have my new florist, no wonder Janousek Florist has been in business for 100 years
Terrific service and gorgeous flowers. Janouseks delivers consistently good product and I use them for our business gifts. Get well, baby, graduation-you name it and they can do it. I called ahead and made an appointment for a big order, brought in my notes and my budget and received great value for the money. I use them at least 15 times a year and am happy with their service, product and delivery.
Well my husband ordered via the FTD website and the order was given to this store for the second year in a row, just our luck. Well last year they did not see the upgrade so I received a small bouquet that was finally after several phones calls replaced with the large bouquet that he paid for. This year he again upgraded to the best and the bouquet I received is the size between the good & better. After calling the store they stated they go be the stem count so you get 21 stems for the "BEST" and end up with a bouquet that is half the size shown in the picture on the internet!!! Very disapointed and not worth the money for the upgrade from "Good" to "Best".
When placing your flower order it is best to call the florist directly, or use their website. When you order from FTD they take a $10 service charge and only pass on 70% of the total order to the local florist. This is why the arrangement was smaller. When you notified Janousek Florist of your problem, we corrected it and sent you another arrangement the same day. Always order from your local florist and you will avoid this problem.
