I've heard great things about this place so I went to try them out. The waitress was very rude and took forever between each serving. I mean the appetizers took 20 minutes after we ordered, them when we ordered food, simply gyros and fries mind you, it took 40 minutes. Hats probably the fastest meal on their menu to prepare and it took 40 minutes. When we addressed the time issues and attitude if the waitress to the manager he didn't seem to care, and the entire staff became rude by laughing and making smart remarks as if we were crazy or something. I will never go back there because the service was so bad, even though the food was delicious. I recommend only using take out if you go there.

Authentic Greek & Delicious!!

Greek Islands is a favorite with all generations of our family. We have been going there for years. Try the spanakopita, the gyros platter, and definitely the flaming saganaki cheese! You will love it!!

I have been going to this restaurant for over 10 years, its amazing, generous portions, delicious food, friendly service, beautiful atmosphere. The Greek Cheese is brought to you on fire! The calamari is delish, not rubbery at all like at some places. Order the Gyro Platter mmmm...

The food was delicious. The service was excellent. This is a real family restaurant; it was full, and many tables had mom, dad, and the kids. Fresh cheese and olives; plenty of hummus with appetizer; owners are present and working with the staff to insure a memorable dining experience. Try the sampler platter for a plentiful taste of the main Greek items on the menu.

You want awesome Greek food at a good price this is it. Another Omaha tradition and its here to stay. The environment and staff are always welcoming and the inside of the restraunt is so fun.

I have been eating at this resturant for many years. The people are wonderful as is the food. My only wish is that they could bulit a place in Lubbock Tx. I have moved from the Omaha area and I have yet to find a Greek Resturant any where close to them. Nothing compairs to the real deal and the Greek Islands are the real deal. I have been to this restaurant on several occasions and found it to be just ok. Might go again from time to time but probably would not recommend it to friends.

I have never had a bad meal here. They have the best Greek food in town. The service is always great, the atmosphere is fun.

Sometimes I just crave one of their Gyros.

as most other Omahans I talk to, but I do enjoy the food. They remodelled the inside several years ago, so the atmosphere is more pleasant than the original version. Ah, I could go for that flaming cheese appetizer right now!

The best Greek food in Omaha. Superior wait staff, everyone is very friendly. Fast service for both dine in and take out.

Every time we have eaten here the food has been excellent. The portions are huge and the prices are incredibly reasonable. Very fresh and flavorful food, presented well. And the menu has a lot to offer as well, the options are incredible.
