Our Mission is to help our patients reach their goals by providing individualized, evidence-based care, as well as educating and empowering our patients to take charge of their overall health and wellness. Dundee Orthopedic Physical Therapy was created out of the desire to provide the people of Omaha with individualized, complete care. We believe each patient is unique, thus deserves a unique therapy experience and not assembly line therapy. We strive to pair each patient with ONE therapist for the duration of their rehabilitation. DOPT is dedicated to the total well-being and unique individuality of its patients. Our goal is to educate the patient, help them understand their condition and possess the power to take an active role in their recovery. Prevention of future occurrences and improvement of our patients¿ overall health is paramount. Dundee Orthopedic Physical Therapy strives to provide up-to-date, individualized care for each patient. Our Services Include: There are countless causes of pain or limitations to one's musculoskeletal system (muscles, bones, ligaments, and tendons) and overall function. Whether due to repetitive movements, traumatic injury or even surgery, DOPT will address your musculoskeletal impairments and help you work toward your goals of reclaiming your functional mobility and decreasing your pain. Injured athletes required specific attention to the demands of their sport, during their recovery. This patient population will be tested in sport-specific situations, as well as pushed above and beyond these situations, to ensure they are ready to return to their teams without reservations regarding their abilities. Low back pain and neck pain are two of the most physically limiting experiences, but they are also two of the most responsive conditions to physical therapy. By attending physical therapy within the first few days of onset, we can significantly reduce pain and increase function. Patient education and a unique home exercise program are especially significant, as they can help to prevent future occurrences of low back and neck pain. Pediatric patients often sustain similar injuries to their adult counterparts. But, because they are still growing and maturing, their rehabilitation needs can vary drastically. Whether it is a sprained ankle, a torn ACL, or back pain, we are confident in our ability to work with the younger members of our community and address their special needs during their rehabilitation process. MVAs can cause massive trauma to your musculoskeletal system: whiplash, disc injuries, and even muscles injuries causing spasms. Often, you may not experience the full extent of your injuries until a few days after your accident. All of these conditions are effectively treated by the qualified physical therapists at DOPT.
