Powers Ballroom Studio has the best instruction I've experienced in Thurston and Pierce County. The owners/instructors, Rhett and Shona, give great attention to detail on form and style so that dance moves can be performed with ease and comfort. Their style of teaching fits many learning styles, whether visual, counting, musically, et al.

Rhett and Shona are two of the best instructors that I have had the pleasure of taking lessons from. From a basic social dance class to their more advance technique classes and private lessons, their attention to the little details that make one a better dancer really reflect their dedication to their profession. Their group classes and Friday night social dances are always fun and entertaining. If you want to learn ballroom dance in the Olympia or Tacoma area, Powers Ballroom Studio is the place to go.
